Spammo and Houston Institute for Culture presents the New Bayou City Stories: New Digital Works from Emerging Media Makers Friday, August 6th at 6:30 p.m. This cultural event will include works from the Dawn Project, Centre for Digital Storytelling, Houston Institute for Culture, Yates H. S. Photography Program and FotoFest Literacy Through Photography.
New Bayou City Stories is an innovative program of comedy and dramatic digital short stories that will illustrate the lives of our fellow Houstonians and first time media makers. Come be a part of this dynamic movement in art and democracy by learning the true art of digital storytelling .
A panel discussion will follow with Houston Institute for Culture, The Dawn Project, Yates H. S. Photography Program and FotoFest.
This event is free. $7 donations are accepted and light snacks will be served. See you there!
